Riding Holy was a small project about a priest which kills vampires while performing sick skateboard tricks.

This idea started out as a recruitment task in the context of Game Dev Técnico, a student group in IST - University of Lisbon  (you can find them here). If you're curious, you can learn more by reading the original game design document linked below.

Riding Holy was then turned into an internal project, with a small team focused on bringing the game to life. This team, informally known as Group 6, was composed of the following members:

Fábio Sousa - Producer and Game Designer
Gonçalo Goulão - 2D Artist and UI/UX Designer
Miguel Belbute - Programmer and Writer
Ivo Duarte - Concept and World Building
Ricardo Cardoso - Programmer and Technical Artist
Tomás Oliveira - Concept and Character Artist

The game was initially developed in the Unity Engine but after a joint decision, Group 6 decided to re-implement the game using the Unreal Engine (find out more about each version in the corresponding devlogs).

That being said, you can try out 2 versions of Riding Holy:

- A tech demo of the Unity version:
Movement: WASD / Joystick
Jump: Space / X, South Button

- An Unreal version:
Movement WASD
Jump: Space
Q: Melee Attack
E: Ground Slam

F: Grind Attack
Shift: Dash Attack
Z: Restart Level
X: Main Menu
